One day, ordinary elementary school student Mitsuo Suwa meets an alien in an empty lot, who appoints him as the hero of justice, "Perman No. 1"! Together with the chimpanzee No. 2, the tomboyish girl with an unknown identity No. 3, and reliable Osaka native No. 4, they save lives and fight evil!
The series gained huge popularity in the late 1960s in Weekly Shonen Sunday and educational magazines for different grades, and was continued in the 1980s with a new setting. This version includes all episodes, including early versions not available in the original volumes and the stories featuring Perman No. 5, as well as the magazine's feature pages and the bonus features on the back cover of the original comic.
