In Artific City, a new invention has been created known as the Core Controller ( CC ), which allows each person a SOUL GUARD. A copy of themselves with the ability to do as the owner pleases. Kyle, boy with no memory of his past life, almost receives one himself on the day of the pre-released CC's only to reveal he already had one! However he, and the rest of the city soon find the device is not what it seems and is in fact a mechanical parasite. Now Kyle, Zack, Diana and many others are trapped into a blood battle for the promise of freedom from the CC's creator. As Kyle's adventure begins, his past, and the pasts of many other victims unravel... He may soon discover, the man he is and the man he used to be, may not see eye to eye... and his Soul Guard, Kimix, may know more about that than he is letting on.
