it was seven years since the "gate" opened over the skies of Midori, unleashing countless monsters into our world. Word spread fast throughout The Forbidden Zone that the catas- trophe was the doing of one young man, The Gatekeeper, a being that straddled the line be- tween our dimension and the "Zodia."
Taro Yamada knew these rumors to be true. Haunted by what he had done, Taro scoured the world for Zodian Beasts, and the woman who awakened him to his powers, vowing to erase them, and himself upon his mission's end.
Various PMC's specializing in the capture and weaponization of Zodian Beasts flourished in the years following the Midori Incident. Once such group, Black Bird, would find themselves locked in conflict with Taro on more than one occasion...
